Welcome to Haystack Acres, home of the best AKC/Internationally bred Bernese Mountain dogs and lovely low riding Pembroke Welsh Corgis! Lynn Hindman, President and owner of Haystack Acres has been breeding and showing her dogs since 1993 when it all began. We have a long history of healthy bloodlines and happy families. Our breeding stock goes back 5 & 6 generations, proving the excellence of our lines. Our facilities are top notch in comfort for our canine companions, with access to large paddocks, pastures and runs on our 40 acre property. Our puppies are whelped in the house and raised in a family environment with loads of love and attention.

We have been and continue to be in compliance with PACFA and are proud to have the stamp of good standing with the Colorado State Dept. of Agriculture regarding the cleanliness and condition of our facilities, medical record keeping on all our dogs, and customer reporting and record keeping.

We care deeply about the health of our dogs and puppies. We use genetic testing for specific breed associated hereditary diseases and are diligent and careful in choosing our breeding pairs.

8+ years of college can’t compare with the field experience learned over the 30 years I’ve spent breeding, raising, showing and selling horses and dogs. We are time tested and proven!

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We got Moose our Pembroke corgi from haystack acres around 12 years ago.  His mom was Bella and his dad was Neil Diamond.  Moose is truly part of our family.  He just wants to be involved and so we take him wherever we go.  He loves to be in the mountains running wild and getting his paws wet in the streams.  At 12 years old, he is truly in amazing health and looks to be half his age.  His personality is definitely happy go lucky.  When we do have to leave him home alone you'll find him snoozing belly up resting for his next adventure or plotting how to trick us into giving him double dinner.

The structure they have at the farm is perfect for the animals; she keeps them clean, well trained and in a very stimulating environment. We picked up our baby Berner back in December and could not be happier. I was blown away by the detail Lynn and Haystack Acres took in ensuring the health of their puppies. PennHip scores, genetic testing, sanitation, etc. We took our pup to his vet for the first time today, and he praised Haystack Acres and how diligent they are in taking care of their puppies, and information they provided for his first visit.  Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We picked up our corgi puppy from Haystack Acres in late October 2022. His name is Tiger and his parents are Hershey and Taffy.

Tiger is a wonderful dog.  He is pure joy. He's affectionate, playful, curious, athletic, happy, smart, cute . . . I could go on and on. My husband and I often talk about how we can't believe that we ended up with such an amazing dog. It took a bit of time for our other corgi George to warm up to Tiger, but now they are buddies. George taught Tiger to fetch and they both are obsessed with playing ball. Every time we step outside they're ready to play.

We are so grateful for all the love and affection that Lynn and her team at Haystack Acres gave to Tiger and the rest of his siblings. There's no doubt in my mind that all of their knowledge and love for corgis made Tiger the best boy ever.

We just surprised our kids with a second Bernese puppy for Christmas and knew we would go nowhere else but Haystack Acres.
